On October 21, 2013 in Warsaw, over 100 scientists from all over the world participated in an independent scientific conference on the cause of the Smolensk Crash.

Scientific research demonstrates that the Polish Tu-154M could not have burst into thousands of pieces after hitting a birch tree.
The analysis of satellite pictures has shown that the birch was already broken on April 5, 2010, that’s 5 days before the crash.
Strong internal force caused the disintegration of the Polish Tu-154M in mid-air, before hitting the ground.
Photographs from the crash scene show debris from the airplane located before the birch tree blamed for causing the crash.
