Nathan Bader receives Rumsfeld Fellowship for 2020-21

This fellowship involves financial support for his graduate studies at IWP, as well as participation in a network of fellow scholars seeking to serve our nation in public policy or related fields. Nathan is pursuing his M.A. in Statecraft and National Security Affairs at IWP. Read more


Bringing IWP lessons to the IC: Jim Noone, former Senior Executive at DIA

Jim Noone retired this past spring after serving for about 40 years in the federal government – eight with the Navy, and about 33 with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). In the mid-1990s, he took several classes at IWP which influenced the way he analyzed intelligence and propelled him towards the DIA’s Senior Executive Service. Read more

IWP honors supporters who have passed away

Bozenna Urbanowicz Gilbride, RIP

Originally from Poland, IWP supporter Bozenna Urbanowicz Gilbride survived the Soviet occupation, the Third Reich’s invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, the burning of her village by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, and the imprisonment of her mother at Ravensbrück concentration camp. Bożenna went on to get married, have four children, and dedicate much of her time to World War II education. Read more
